About Canadian Valley Sports

Hunter Sheppard has been immersed in Oklahoma prep sports since graduating from Porum High School in 2018. His journey began during the 2019–20 school year, calling audio-only football games for his alma mater — a humble start that eventually led him across the state.
By 2020–21, he had expanded his coverage to state tournaments and showcase events. In February 2023, Hunter added photography and videography to his toolbox with a Canon EOS Rebel T7, and by August 2023, he relocated to Purcell to continue building his platform in the heart of Central Oklahoma.
Canadian Valley Sports was created to tell the stories of athletes, coaches, and communities that don’t always get the spotlight. Focused on the schools of McClain, Garvin, Grady and Cleveland Counties, Canadian Valley Sports brings consistent, honest, and passionate coverage to a region full of tradition, pride, and competition.
