Tuttle vs Broken Bow: Tigers Surge in Second Half to Reach 4A Title Game

ADA — Behind a four-touchdown explosion from Shawn Rounsaville Jr. and a balanced night from quarterback Cruz Campbell, Tuttle powered past Broken Bow 49–28 in the Class 4A semifinals Friday night at East Central University.

Tuttle struck early through the air — Campbell hit Jordan Lane for a 17-yard score, then found Jalen Lane on a 65-yard strike as the Tigers traded punches with a physical Broken Bow offense. The Savages leaned on bruising back Jattairrius Neal and dual-threat quarterback Greydon Howell, keeping the game tight until Campbell ripped off a 55-yard keeper late in the second quarter to give Tuttle a 21–14 lead at halftime.

The second half belonged to the ground game. Rounsaville sprinted in from 40 yards out to extend the margin, then answered a Broken Bow push with a 27-yard touchdown run that swung momentum firmly back to the Tigers. Tuttle’s defense tightened inside the 20, slowing Howell’s scrambling lanes and preventing Broken Bow from connecting on any deep shots over the top.

In the fourth, Rounsaville finished the job. The senior barreled in from the 1 and then the 6 to cap a four-touchdown half and send Tuttle back to the state championship stage.
