Alexander hat trick, Babcock pick-six fuels Washington’s 53–6 district-opening rout of Dickson

WASHINGTON — Washington erupted for five first-quarter touchdowns and never let up, hammering Dickson 53–6 on Friday to open Class 2A-I District 2 play. The Warriors needed just two snaps to seize control when Kade Babcock jumped a route and raced 45 yards for a pick-six. From there, the offense stacked points in a hurry behind Creed Barrett and Case Alexander.

Barrett hit Alexander twice downfield for first-quarter touchdowns, and Alexander later added a goal-line score for a three-TD night. Javen Hall bulled in a pair of rushing touchdowns, Josiah Dickerson sprung a long return score, and Landon Heatly punched in the final TD as the running clock expired in the third.

Dickson finally broke through late on a Baylor Bonds→Jaelon Douglas touchdown, but Washington’s lead was long out of reach.
