BLANCHARD — The Lady Lions split a home doubleheader Tuesday evening, opening with a tense, extra-inning 2–1 walk-off win over Duncan before falling 3–0 to Edmond Memorial in the nightcap.
Game 1 — Blanchard 2, Duncan 1 (8 innings)
Blanchard wasted little time getting on the board in the opener. In the bottom of the first, Finley Lockwood delivered a run-scoring double to give the Lady Lions an early 1–0 lead.
The score held until the top of the sixth, when Duncan’s Shylee Orr grounded out to bring home the tying run. That set the stage for extra innings, where the game remained deadlocked until the bottom of the eighth. With the winning run on third, Keira Scott lifted a deep sacrifice fly to secure the walk-off victory.
Lynlee Schneringer led Blanchard’s offense with a 2-for-3 performance, while Lockwood and Scott each recorded an RBI. Duncan’s Mallory Taylor went 3-for-4 to pace the Lady Demons’ lineup.
Parker Jackson started in the circle for Blanchard, tossing five innings and allowing one run on five hits with two walks. Rylee Black earned the win in relief, working three scoreless innings and striking out one without allowing a walk.

In the nightcap, both teams got strong pitching performances, but Edmond Memorial capitalized on its scoring chances while Blanchard couldn’t break through.
The Lady Bulldogs struck first in the top of the fourth, pushing across a run on a bases-loaded walk to Eden Johnson. They added a pair of insurance runs late, with Johnson, Hannah Wilbur, and Averie McGinnis each driving in one.
Blanchard’s best scoring opportunities came in the middle innings, but Edmond Memorial ace Keegan Baker stranded runners in scoring position multiple times to preserve the shutout. Baker finished the complete game allowing six hits with eight strikeouts and no walks.
Adi Ford led Blanchard’s lineup with a 2-for-3 effort.
Rylee Black started in the circle for Blanchard, striking out eight over four innings while allowing one run on three hits. Ali Cook and Parker Jackson combined to work the final three innings in relief.
